Halloween for Hunger: A faith filled event in the Spirit of Catholic Communities of Caring
Wed., Nov. 4, 2009 10:01 PM

In the spirit of service, 93 students from St. Michael Catholic Secondary School along with teacher volunteers, parents, pastors and parishioners from Immaculate Conception and St. Joseph Catholic churches in Stratford held a food drive on Halloween, to stock the St. Vincent de Paul food bank. Both Fr. Tom Ferrera and Fr. Dick Bestor noted the actions of the students as 'saintly' and commented that this is indeed a great example of home, school and parish working together.
