The Advent Wreath
The Advent wreath is usually made of evergreen branches placed in a circle, topped with four candles. The evergreen reminds us of God's gift of everlasting life. We light one candle for each of the four weeks of Advent. For more family activities for the second week of Advent, click on the link below.
Inclement Weather Procedures
Winter weather will soon be upon us! Murphy's Bus Lines makes a decision, as close to 6:00 am as possible as to whether bus routes will be cancelled due to weather. Precious Blood Catholic School will remain open when rural buses are cancelled for students and staff that can arrive safely. When rural buses are cancelled, our buses that service students with special needs will also be cancelled for safety reasons. When rural buses are cancelled, the school also postpones the hot lunch program. When a hot lunch day is postponed, it will take place on the next school not already scheduled as a food day.
