Calling All Three Year Olds Kindergarten Registration is designed so that all children can enter school at their optimal level of development. It includes registration for school, early identification of developmental delays through Nipissing screening by a trained screener and promotion of early child development programs and services in Huron and Perth Counties.

What should parents do if they cannot attend CATYO Kindergarten Registration on the day it is scheduled at the school?
Parents should:

• Call the school and pick up a Kindergarten Registration Information package from the School Secretary, complete the forms /information and return these to the school.
• Make an appointment to have a Nipissing Developmental Screen completed.

In Huron, parents can call 519-482-8505 ext. 200 or 1-888-371-5718 ext. 200 for an appointment with a Resource Consultant.

In Perth, parents can call the nearest Ontario Early Years Centre for an appointment with an Early Years Coordinator or Resource Consultant.
