School Improvement Plan

The School Improvement Plan is revised on an ongoing basis based on the needs and findings of the different assessment tools being used at the school to improve student learning.  EQAO, CCAT, DRA, CASI results as well as many other teacher assessment tools including classroom observation help us with our School Improvement Planning.  Our improvement plans focus on improving student learning.  Specific areas at which we look closely include:

  • Increase the demonstration of Gospel values and Catholic traditions as witnessed by our Catholic Faith. (Catholic Communities of Caring)
  • Increase the literacy performance of all students.
  • Increase the numeracy performance of all students.
  • Expand classroom assessment and evaluation strategies using student data to determine the instruction needed to improve student learning.

Improvement goals are Strategic and Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Results-based, Time Bound. (SMART)
