Principals Message

Welcome to St. James Catholic School in Seaforth, Ontario! St. James is a warm, vibrant and faith-filled community where our staff members work together to support the learning and growth of our students. We explicitly teach the Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations to our students throughout the curriculum.  Students and staff participate in a variety of liturgies, clubs, teams, activities and events, all marked by our faith.  We strive to bring the key words of our School Mission to life each day: faith, family, friends and fun.  We are proud of our community and we welcome you to join us!

We take pride in our efforts to continually nurture our home, school, and parish relationships. We are blessed to have Father Brian McColl and the entire parish community of St. James next door to assist us.  St. James continues to receive invaluable support from parents and community members and we play an active role in parish life. We believe that our strong home, school, and parish connection is essential in maintaining our rich learning environment, one that is based on the teachings of Jesus Christ.

St. James understands the very core of inclusion. We believe that every person who walks through our door must be treated with dignity and respect. Individual differences are celebrated as we know that diversity is a gift from God. Each person in our school community enriches our faith-filled environment with their own unique gifts and talents.

Each week, we produce a "Parent Week-at-a-Glance" (WAAG) that is emailed to all parents/guardians and is posted on our school website.  This is a weekly update on current events and upcoming ones too.  We also have a Facebook page and twitter account, both of which can also be accessed on our website. Please go on and read all about us! Like our Facebook page to get connected and keep up with all of the exciting activities at St. James Catholic School.

Thank you for your interest in St. James Catholic School.  I welcome you to contact me anytime.
