Monday, May 1

Dear Families,

Please find attached an invitation to our students to participate in a free bowling night at Mike's Lanes next Wednesday, May 10th.  Please be prepared to stay with your children while they bowl.  (Having gone for many, many years in the past with my own children, it's a really fun night for them but I advise planning to arrive between 6:30-6:45 pm to get shoes. J Mrs. Chute)

Thank you to the Downie Optimist Club and its' members.  They very generously donate time and resources to our school and our school community on a regular basis.  This year they have sponsored our transportation for the Kindergarten Outdoor Education Program, the upcoming Water Safety Day for Grades 4-6 and awards for Graduation.  We are lucky to have them!

Also, just a quick reminder to Senior Kindergarten and Grade 8 families that Grad photo orders were due today.  The photographer has allowed us an extension until Wednesday—but please send them in asap if you are not ordering online.  Thanks!
