Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française (DELF)
The Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board is pleased to offer Grade 12 French Immersion and Core French students the opportunity to challenge the DELF, an internationally recognized proficiency exam. Based on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), this assessment measures listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills to certify French language proficiency.
Why Challenge the DELF?
Successful candidates receive a diploma from the French Ministry of National Education, providing a lifelong certification of their linguistic abilities. This credential enhances resumes and opens global educational and career opportunities by validating a student's dedication to bilingualism and cultural understanding.
Eligibility
The DELF is available to students currently enrolled in Grade 12 French Immersion or Core French courses. Please note that students must remain enrolled in their French program to maintain eligibility for the exam.
For more information regarding DELF please contact your local secondary school.
